Juliet Simms Is My Blondeaholic Style Icon Of The Week! « Read Less
If you know me personally, you'll know I am a HUGE Juliet Simms fan. Since the very beginning of this season's The Voice, I haven't been able to keep my eyes and ears off of her. She auditioned with her spin on The Beatles "Oh! Darling" and it kicked me right in the ass. She is like the female Steven Tyler, it's crazy. Juliet blows every other contestant on that show out of the water with her voice, charisma, stage presence, and her amazing classic rock style.
Her style is kind of all over the place, in a great way. Lots of classic Janis Joplin and Mick Jagger inspired spandex and bellbottoms, feathers, ripped up and destroyed rock t-shirts, leather, flared sleeves, denim cut off vests, plaid, girl can wear ANYTHING. On Monday's semi-final performance, she MURDERED "It's A Man's, Man's, Man's, World" originally by James Brown. She wore a completely, unbelievably amazing floor length nude gown with pointed shoulders and chains hanging off of it that literally took my breath away. I cannot WAIT to see next week's finale to watch her kill it again with her chosen song and her ensemble.
What do YOU think of Juliet Simms's style? LOVES or LEAVES?
xx
