Summer is here and I am SO excited!! Here is an interview I did below to fill you in on all my plans!!

What’s your favorite Summertime food? 

This summer I've been OBSESSED with watermelon caprese salad, it's so fresh and light, perfect for summer.Picture regular mozzerella, basil and tomato caprese but switch up the cheese for feta and the tomato for watermelon, delicious!

Any Summer vacations planned?

I'm planning on heading up to King River, CA at the end of the month to spend a few days BBQ'ing and floating on the river with all of my friends. Lazy summer days are my absolute favorite. The Ace Hotel in Palm Springs may also be in the cards for August too.

Do you prefer Summer or Winter?

Summer!

Would you rather play at the beach or lay by a pool?

I love both, but I would have to say the beach has always had me at hello. Nothing like the smell of the sand and sea.

What’s your Summer style?

I'm all about flowy everything for summer. I'm a bit of a fashion chameleon when it comes to style. This summer, I've been loving little bralette or bustier tops with DIY cutoff jean vests, long flowy semi-sheer skirts and sky high platforms. I also love mixing masculine and feminine this season. For example, grungy destroyed rock 'n roll tees or tanks with super feminine accents like lace shorts, microminis or pearls.  

Are you working on any projects this Summer?

Just working on writing from the heart more often and making Blonde-A-Holic a super visited, popular, informative, fun and loved blog. I've set a goal to try to write each and everyday for at least 30 minutes. I'm also planning on going to tons of Summer concerts and blogging about them. I'm most excited for Iron Maiden, Motley Crue with KISS this August and Gotye shows in September! Also excited for things that are in the works with Blonde-A-Holic so stay tuned kittens ;-].

What’s on your Summer 2012 playlist?

Summer to me ALWAYS means lots of classic rock. I've been listening to so much Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Elton John, Aerosmith, Journey and more lately.  Lots of '78 cherry red Corvette rock.  On the flip side, I'm also loving Lana Del Rey's "Born To Die" album and have been revisiting "Deja Entendu" by Brand New a bunch lately.  There is nothing like summer music, sigh.  

Do you plan on seeing any new movies this Summer?

I am SO super excited to see The Dark Knight Rises (but really, who isn't?), it looks INCREDIBLE. I also can't wait to see Chris Pine's new film, "People Like Us" that hits theaters later this Summer. I'm always down for a popcorn and movie night!
