Upon first listen, you could possibly be a little confused with the newly reunited No Doubt's new single "Push and Shove". The track is clearly destined to be listened to loud and proud, with open ears and an open mind. Bassist Tony Kanal dubbed the song as No Doubt's version of "Bohemian Rhapsody" because of how many genres the track crosses. Kanal also went on to say, "We want to sound modern, but we're still influenced by ska, reggae and Eighties UK bands,". The Diplo-produced title track from No Doubt's upcoming album of the same name, blends pop with ska, reggae, dancehall, dubstep, and features verses from Major Lazer and Busy Signal. It's catchy and fun, although I'm not sure if I'm obsessed quite yet, although I could definitely dance my ass off to it getting ready for a night on the town for sure. No Doubt's brand new album (their first in over ten freaking years!) hits stores September 25th.
What do YOU think of No Doubt's new single "Push and Shove"? LOVES OR LEAVES?
