Jack White "Sixteen Saltines" Live on SNL - #Blondeaholic's Kick Ass Song Of The Week!
There's not much Jack White can do wrong in my eyes. Everything he's ever put out has been damn near perfect, and his recent solo endeavor is no exception. He hit the stage at SNL for his first solo television appearance and absolutely KILLED it. For the first number, "Love Interruption", he shared the stage with an all-female band which was unexpected, folky and flawless. But for his second song, "Sixteen Saltines", I noticed a true return to White Stripes-style, no holds barred, pure, unadulterated, rock 'n roll. Tons of brain-splitting electric guitar solos, trademark Jack White vocals, and per usual, lots of badass-ery. I cannot WAIT for his debut album "Blunderbuss" to drop on April 23rd via his Third Man Records label. Not to mention, to see these tracks played live? The anticipation is killing me! Fun Fact: The White Stripes at the Boston Opera House in 2005 was the best live show I have ever seen.
What do YOU think of Jack White's "Sixteen Saltines"? Loves or leaves?
